Learn from the Norwegian practices! As part of the Good Energy – Solar Energy for Energy Transition project, Norwegian companies Greenstat Energy and Seed Forum Global are hosting the webinar Green Hydrogen as an Enabler for Renewable Energy on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 10 AM. The webinar is open for local governance representatives and stakeholders working in the field of renewable energy in Croatia and will take place in English. The webinar will introduce:

  • The basics of hydrogen as an energy carrier
  • Electrolysis, value chain, efficiency, energy density
  • Ammonia and other derivatives
  • Hydrogen uses and opportunities for industrial symbiosis

The topic will be introduced by Oda Marie Ellefsen, R&D Coordinator & Project Manager Hydrogen, Asia at Greenstat ASA. Oda Marie holds an MSc in Materials for Energy Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and is a specialist in functional materials. She has experience from product development and industrial R&D, and currently manages the R&D portfolio of the Greenstat group, as well as several hydrogen projects in India and Sri Lanka.

After a webinar focused on the development of solar energy projects, this will be the second webinar aimed at sharing Norwegian practices to accelerate the use of renewable energy in Croatia.

The Good Energy – Solar Energy for Energy Transition project benefits from a € 1,1 million grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway through the European Economic Area (EEA) Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 with the national financial support of the Republic of Croatia within the Energy and Climate Change program. The project aims to increase capacities for renewable energy production in Croatia.
