The Region of Istria is undertaking assessments of the solar potential of almost all of the buildings owned to enable more solar installations.
In its strategic documents, the Region of Istria gives great importance to renewable energy and energy efficiency. Istria County is undertaking assessments of the solar potential of almost all of the buildings owned to enable more solar installations and reduce dependence on increasingly expensive energy. The plan is to systematically build solar PV systems by the principle of the largest consumer served first. The financing model will be determined by the building’s purpose.
Region of Istria (Regione Istriana) in the Good Energy — SEET project:

The power of the PV systems is to range between 30 kW for the smallest one and 64 kW for the largest one, depending on the energy needs of the buildings they are installed on.
