Get inspired and expand the capacity to develop renewable energy projects in your local community through the informative lecture “Good practices from Norway: Development of local solar energy projects” that will be held on Thursday, March 16, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. via the ZOOM platform. The experiences of developing solar energy projects in local communities in Norway will be shared by Dr. Charly Berthod from the Norwegian company Greenstat, which develops and invests in renewable energy projects.
This informative lecture is intended for representatives of local governance units in Croatia who are preparing to implement or are already implementing renewable energy projects, especially solar energy, as well as interested representatives of organizations and initiatives in the field of renewable energy in Croatia. The lecture will be particularly focused on available solar technologies, types of installations, the issue of production and self-consumption, profitability of investments, but also issues related to the life cycle of solar technologies.
The lecture will be held in English.

The lecture “Good practices from Norway: Development of local solar energy projects” is part of the capacity development activities for energy production from renewable sources in Croatia as part of the “Good Energy – Solar Energy for Energy Transition (SEET)” project, and was organized in cooperation with the bilateral project partners from Norway, Seed Forum Global and Greenstat.
The project “Good energy – Solar energy for the energy transition” is financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA) 2014-2021 with the national co-financing of the Republic of Croatia in the amount of EUR 1.1 million in grants under the “Energy and Climate Change” Program. The total value of the project is EUR 1.4 million.
