Despite the significant potential of solar energy in our country, in the overall energy framework of Croatia, only about 0.5% of electricity comes from the Sun. With the Good Energy — SEET project, we want to increase the production of solar energy in Croatia.
The focus of the project is to put the potential of solar energy in Croatia at the service of the energy independence and sustainable development of Croatian cities and local communities.

Twenty-two solar power PV systems on public buildings in 7 cities with a total capacity of 1 MW will produce over 1.2 million MWh of energy from the Sun and reduce CO2 emission by almost 250,000 TPY.
The economic efficiency and simplicity of investing in solar PV systems for public facilities throughout Croatia will increase with the help of recommendations for optimizing investments based on the experiences of the development of solar PV systems planned within the project.
Citizens will be empowered to participate more actively in the transition to renewable energy through educational activities about solar energy for households in the project’s partner cities.
The readiness for the development of the solar energy market will increase through educational opportunities for existing installers and technical professionals and by empowering young people to acquire qualifications in the field of renewables, especially for the installation of solar PV systems.
Cooperation activities carried out with bilateral partners will enable the transfer of knowledge about the development of the solar energy market.
Investments in renewables are investments in quality of life and the sustainable development of Croatian cities and local communities. They will contribute to their energy independence and make them more resistant to social and environmental changes and crises.
The Good Energy — SEET project contributes to the achievement of the goals of the Low-Carbon Development Strategy of the Republic of Croatia until 2030 with a view to 2050, the Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan for the Republic of Croatia and the European Union’s green transition plan Fit for 55.
The Good Energy — SEET project is the result of the cooperation, long-term reflection and continuous action of the partners that it gathers towards the transition to renewable energy as well as mitigation of and adaption to climate change.
